The Albany Cavalcade is a 4-door luxury full-size SUV in GTA 5 and GTA Online. There are 2 versions of the Cavalcade, both are named as ‘Albany Cavalcade’ on-screen when entered. The 1st version is similar to the Cavalcade from GTA IV, and has some unique mods available at Los Santos Customs and Beeker’s Garage, including a Chassis Mod. This mod places 3 large subwoofers in the cargo compartment, although the in-game radio sound remains unchanged. (The interior colour of the cargo compartment also changes to match the exterior paint, which makes this version of the Cavalcade unique, as it is the only vehicle in GTA 5 with a modifiable interior.) The mod makes it possible to replicate the ‘Spanish Lords’ gang Cavalcade variant from GTA IV.
The word ‘Cavalcade‘ means a procession or parade, like the presidential cavalcade, which includes Escalades, which the Cavalcade is based on, thus why the car is called Cavalcade. It also sounds like a combination of the names ‘Cadillac’ and ‘Escalade’.
