The Coil Brawler is an off-road buggy featured in GTA 5 and GTA Online, and was introduced as part of the Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 Update. The Coil Brawler is heavily based on the Local Motors Rally Fighter. It has a buggy-like design with off-road modifications and attachments. The Coil Brawler has roof lights and guard lights that are non-functional in Los Santos Customs.
The Coil Brawler powered by its 4l 400hp V8 engine. It excels well in handling, both on and off-road, and suffers little spinout compared to the BF Bifta where it is highly prone to spinning out even at medium speeds although it sometimes suffer a traction loss. Although its top speed is low, its acceleration is fundamentally excellent for off-road races.
Tires are susceptible to gunshots due to its elevated height so bulletproof tires are a must to reduce the risk of a tire blowout. Collisions are average and doesn’t usually deform much. The brakes however, can be considered as the car’s weakness as it isn’t too potent, meaning that it does take a little longer for the car to stop, both on-road and off-road. Therefore the Coil Brawler would benefit from a brakes upgrade. Even with full upgrades, the Coil Brawler takes more than double the distance to stop compared to almost every other car in the game. If attempting to stop, one might benefit from using the handbrake and the regular brakes together, and be wary of wheel lockup.
