Albany Virgo

The Albany Virgo is a muscle car featured in GTA 5 and GTA Online as part of the Ill-Gotten Gains Part 1 update, the Virgo is general body style is inspired by the 6th generation Cadillac Eldorado and the Lincoln Continental Mark III – Mark IV, the front grille and headlights resembling a 1967 Chrysler Newport and the rear resembling a 1968 Newport, with available modifications adding a very pronounced rear mounted spare tire and rear wheel arch covers and some design cues from early 1970s Cadillac Eldorado models.

The Albany Virgo in GTA 5 has improved speed and handling compared to its GTA IV counterpart, although its acceleration is bested by the Vapid Blade. While somewhat slower than other muscle cars when not upgraded, the Albany Virgo doesn’t produce understeer when tackling sharp corners and can be easily recovered when it begins to drift. Durability is acceptable against frontal collisions from other traffic and obstacles, though the latter result would make the vehicle launch forward which can be troublesome. Braking power excels well for a somewhat-heavy muscle car.

In GTA V and GTA Online, when the Albany Virgo is purchased from legendarymotorsport.net, it will be supplied with a set of custom sports wheels (pictured on it within the site) instead of stock wheels. The stock wheels can still be purchased at Los Santos Customs. The Albany Virgo is one of the first cars in GTA 5 to feature an antilag system, causing the exhaust to continuously misfire when decelerating. It is simply ear candy however and does not appear to enhance the car’s performance. The Benefactor Stirling GT also has this same feature.
