#12 Fastest Car in GTA 5 : Obey 9F

The Obey 9F is a two-door sports car in GTA 5 and GTA Online, offered in coupé and roadster form (the latter named the 9F Cabrio). This supercar’s design is similar to the Audi R8 Coupé for the coupé form and Audi R8 Spyder for the roadster form. It features a sleek aerodynamic body typical to supercars.

The transmission on the Obey 9F is world class, maybe even the best in the world. Shifts are quick and seamless. The natural aspirated engine delivers over 400 hp to all four wheels. The car’s light weight makes it super quick. When the pedal is pinned to the floor there was very minimal wheel spin. Handling is superb and delivers exceptional feedback and fell. Like any convertible out there cargo space is always a challenge and the Obey 9F Cabrio is no exception.Interior of the 9F is world class. Instrument panels are concise and clear, multimedia interface is very intuitive and we’re glad because that controls just about everything.

The Coil Voltic  is one of the fastest cars in GTA 5, with incredibly fast acceleration. Beside his speed, the absence of noise when you accelerate is almost frightening. Funny how you can almost feel acceleration with Coil Voltic since his power is almost uncontrollable.

It is the fastest accelerating supercar in the game and is tied with the Rapid GT. The disadvantages of Voltic are his mishandling compared to other vehicles in its class, and it is lightweight. You can almost instantly be pushed off the road by heavy vehicles such as Entity XF or  Truffade Adder. The Voltic also has a very low speed for a supercar, the lowest of all the supercars in the game.

The Infernus in GTA 5 appears to be unchanged from GTA IV except for the rim and interior design. The rims on the Infernus match the rims used on the Lamborghini Reventón, a limited production car based on the Murciélago. It also has a new, red interior. Unlike the GTA IV version, the Infernus can be modified with some parts such as the rear wing and exhausts.

The Infernus has undergone many transformations in its time in GTA. From the Lamborghini, Alar look of Grand Theft Auto 3/Vice City to the newer Lamborghini Murcielago/Zonda F crossover. TheInfernus is widely regarded as the fastest car in GTA history.

The Cheetah is one of the best performing cars in GTA 5, being able to compete with the Adder, the Entity XF, the Turismo R and the Zentorno. Having a great speed and acceleration makes it useful for most situations, like robberies and police chases, and like its previous 3D universe rendition, it also has extremely responsive handling and braking, making it much agiler than other supercars in the game. The Vapid Bullet is a supercar featured in GTA 5 that is heavily modeled, both front and back, on the real life Ford GT. The Bullet first appeared in GTA: San Andreas. As the name suggests, acceleration, speed, handling, and braking are the best in the game.

Similar to the F620, Buffalo, Infernus, Banshee and Sultan RS, the Bullet GT is prone to backfire from its exhaust, either when changing gear or in the higher RPM ranges. In GTA 5 Bullet still handles fast, but it is the slowest supercar in the second game, only faster than Voltic, Bullet is more comparable to a sports car instead of a supercar.

The Overflod Entity XF is a 2-door supercar featured in GTA 5.  Car design seems to be heavily influenced by the style of the Swedish Koenigsegg CC8S. The logo on the bonnet / hood is similar to that of the Maserati with white and blue details and has the size and shape of the Koenigsegg. The taillamps are almost identical with those of the Koenigsegg Agera, the taillamps also identical to the Lamborghini Aventador.The rear hood of the vehicle is adopted from the Porsche Carrera GT.

The Entities XFis capable of reaching a very high top speed of 240 kilometers per hour, allowing you to fight Zentorno speeds, Turismo R, Viper, and Cheetah. It is able to burn off excess fuel from the exhaust pipe, similar to cars like the Buffalo, Infernus, Banshee , F620 and other cars like the Sultan when modified.

The Truffade Adder is a 2-door hypercar featured in GTA 5. The Adder is heavily based on the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport for the general shape, the greenhouse area, rear bumper area, and side windows. The design of this car has some resemblance to the Saab Aero-X for the wheels, headlamps, and front fascia. The taillights are based off Aston Martins, as they have sideways U-shaped taillights. Some elements of the front and sides of the car appear to be inspired by speculated Super Veyron illustrations. It reaches a top speed of 253 mph.

The Zentorno is designed as an exotic high-performance vehicle, with very aggressive styling cues and a very low, sloped body for added aerodynamic effects.

The Pegassi Zentorno powered by an apparent V12 engine, the Zentorno can reach very high speeds, faster than most other high-end supercars such as the Turismo R, Infernus, Entity XF, and Cheetah. The hybrid engine in the Zentorno delivers incredibly smooth and alarmingly quick acceleration. In fact, the base stats of this car means it is the fastest accelerating supercar in the game (possibly on par with the Coil Voltic).

#4 Fastest Car in GTA 5: Pegassi Osiris

The Osiris is a supercar featured in GTA V as a part of the Ill-Gotten Gains Part 1 update. It’s based on the Pagani Huayra.

The Pegassi Osiris is impressive for a car of its class. The initial acceleration is slightly better than the Pegassi Zentorno, thanks to the increased traction. This traction along with its AWD makes the Osiris very smooth at taking turns, and rarely requires a drift to take a sharp corner. This car is also very impressive off-road, and it is able to compete with other off-road vehicles uphill given its AWD and high torque output. The supercar is hybrid-electric and doesn’t suffer from speed loss when shifting gears, and has a 7-speed transmission.

#3 Fastest Car in GTA 5: Progen T20

The Progen T20 has impressive acceleration and a very good top speed. The car’s engine appears to be a powerful, high revolution V8, similar to the real-life McLaren P1, however, the engine sound and immense power is most likely a V12, since the strokes are much closer together than a V8.

The T20 is technically the quickest car in the game and has great handling, but can suffer on winding races and sharp corners. The Zentorno holds its own in the speed department but feels loose and is liable to swing out on corners. Some will say the Truffade Adder is the best car for cornering with control. But when it comes to top speed, the Progen T20 does come out on top, followed by the Pegassi Osiris then the Pegassi Zentorno.

#2 Fastest Car in GTA 5: Bravado Banshee 900R

Its overall performance has been altered rather dramatically, including a conversion into the Supers class rather than Sports. Both acceleration and top speed have been increased, becoming the fastest car in the game once it gets on a long straight road. However, care should be taken at tight corners, as the vehicle is likely to oversteer and spin out due to overwhelming torque at low speeds.

GTA 5 tipster and YouTuber MrBossFTW lined up his  Bravado Banshee 900R at the starting line of a 1000m straight line drag event. MrBossFTW conducted multiple pulls on the Banshee to set a baseline and then performed the same 1000m test for the Progen T20, Pegassi Zentorno and Truffade Adder.

#1 Fastest Car in GTA 5: Grotti X80 Proto

The Grotti X80 Proto is arguably the best performing car in GTA V. The Grotti X80 Proto looks gorgeous and it commands a pretty commanding price tag as well: $2.7 million. Obviously, it’s not cheap but it looks like that there is no doubt in saying that the Grotti X80 Proto is definitely the fastest supercar in GTA 5, overtaking the Progen T20 which has held the crown for so long.

The car’s exposed bodywork and carbon fiber usage give it very little weight; comparable to the Benefactor Panto and Karin Futo. As well as this, traction is equally as good due to the all wheel drive layout. The vehicle’s powerful engine gives it the highest statistical top speed in the game, higher than that of the Truffade Adder by 1km/h. The car also has rapid acceleration, although several over supercars, such as the Progen T20 and  Pegassi Osiris are competitive in this field. In terms of handling, the car is equipped with separate rear flaps which individually lift up and down according to both acceleration and cornering, in a similar manner to the Progen T20.
